Now hiring full time Specialist

CSTAT has an open slot for a Specialist; we intend to fill it with someone who has the skills of a Senior Biostatistician. The Specialist will work with the Director and Associate Director to carry out CSTAT’s mission and will provide statistical consulting services directly to our clients. This includes: assisting with grant development and sponsored research; serving as the statistician on projects; preparing bids (cost estimates); offering clients resources and advice on research design and statistical methods; explaining concepts, methods, and how to run or interpret statistical analyses. Meta-analysis course to be offered

"Research synthesis and meta-analysis have become very popular in a wide variety of research disciplines that include psychology, education, medicine, ecology, and business.The objectives of this course are several, but the primary focus is to conduct a research synthesis (using meta-analytic methods) in whatever substantive area interests you the most."
