CSTAT hosts 2021 Virtual STRATOS Conference

Nov 1, 2021

The STRATOS Initiative (STRengthening Analytical Thinking for Observational Studies, https://stratos-initiative.org/) is an international collaboration of over 100 experts in many different areas of biostatistical and biomedical research. A virtual conference was hosted by CSTAT on November 2, 2021, by Dr. Marianne Huebner, director of CSTAT, who is also a co-chair of this organization. Discussions were about developing evidence-supported guidance for statistical issues of practical importance in clinical research through expert consensus. Progress reports of exciting projects covering study design, missing data methods, initial data analysis, variable selection, evaluation of prognostic models, survival analysis, measurement error, causal inference, and high dimensional data analysis were presented.

CSTAT Survey 2021 Report

Oct 22, 2021

CSTAT provides both statistical support and statistical training service. CSTAT statisticians are engaged in all phases of research projects including planning, data management, analysis, and reporting. You are being invited to participate in a web-based online survey about CSTAT. The objective is to gain a better understanding of your quantitative needs for your research projects, such as working with a statistician, data manager, graduate student, or obtain further training that CSTAT could provide.
Please check out the summary report of the 2021 Survey results.
